100 % Syrah.
SOIL
Plot situate in the heart of Saint-Joseph AOC in Mauves. Steep slopes with different kind of soils (alluvions, granit and loess)
VINIFICATION
Grapes are destemmed. Maceration in
concrete vats (for a better thermic
inertia) for about 4 weeks (depending on
the vintage). Extraction made by
pumping over and punching down.

AGEING
The barrel ageing lasts for 12 to 14 months in oak (10% new oak).
TASTING
Colour : deep ruby colour
Nose : Very intense nose with spicy note and blackberry aromas.
Palate : dense structure, with blackberry aromas and spices. Very long lasting wine. |
